I had recently discovered the existence of audio transducers and wanted to see if I could use this as a device to sonically 'scan' the contours of an object by moving it around on its surface while outputting a stable sound. I created a simple VCO on a breadboard to do the latter. I made a ceramic acoustic chamber for the purpose of creating some fun sound-art out of this "sonic scanning" idea.
